Victoria Falls Lodges
Victoria Falls town is a mere 20 kilometres from the international airport. Access to Vic Falls (as it is affectionately known) is generally from Johannesburg, but there are also flights from Harare and Windhoek.
Victoria Falls offers an excellent selection of accommodation, from the Grande Dame that this is the Victoria Falls Hotel (original building in 1904), to The Elephant Camp, set in a private concession, just outside of town, and Batonka Guest Lodge, set in the town's suburbs.
In Victoria Falls you have a selection of good hotels, a boutique hotel, and bed and breakfasts, whilst there are also some excellent Safari Lodges on the Zambezi River itself.
Adding Victoria Falls to your Safari is very easy, as the town is still the main hub for access to Zimbabwe; and the town makes an excellent start or finish point. As Victoria Falls is also only 2 hours by scheduled flight from Johannesburg, it also makes a for a great addition to your South African holiday.
