Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is set high on a natural plateau, and borders the Zambezi National Park.  It is just 4 kilometres from the Victoria Falls, one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Guests at the lodge can enjoy  uninterrupted views of spectacular African sunsets and year round game at the on-site waterhole.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge has only 72 rooms (51 standard, 15 deluxe, 3 suites, and 3 deluxe suites); 6 of the deluxe rooms can accommodate a rollaway bed for a child under 12 years

All rooms have digital safes, telephones , remote control air conditioning, hairdryers, fans, mosquito nets, extensive range of customized toiletries including insect repellent, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, and extra length beds.
The suites are Duplex style with an entrance into a sunken lounge leading onto private balcony with views overlooking the waterhole as well as the Zambezi National Park. There is an open staircase leading up to the bedroom and en-suite bathroom, fully stocked mini bar, raised bathroom with large luxury bath and separate shower cubicle with massaging jets. In addition, the Deluxe Suite also has a Jacuzzi bath.

The award-winning MaKuwa-Kuwa is split-level a la carte restaurant located within the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge’s central hub , and enjoys spectacular views over the waterhole, which is much frequented by buffalo, elephant, warthogs and various antelope plus myriad birds.

Two flights down from the restaurant, is the open-plan Buffalo Bar , which offers a venue for all-day refreshments and tasty snacks, sun downers, and pre- and post-dinner drinks. It has its own game-viewing platform overlooking the waterhole.

You might also want to try the Pool Deck and Viewing Deck, for a delicious snack menu and full bar service. Additionally this offers a wonderful view of the ‘Vulture Restaurant’ in front of the waterhole. This attracts hundreds of vultures every lunchtime

The Boma – Place of Eating is just 500 metres from the lodge, and on the property. The Boma offers a unique African experience including traditional dancers, an interactive drumming show, along with mouth-watering local and international dishes

Lodge guests also have access to an Internet Café, which offers e-mail access, digital photo downloading, CD printing and photo printing facilities

There is a complimentary hourly bus shuttle to the village and Victoria Falls for hotel residents.
